Pollution, environment, ecology, they are all words well-used in our era.
Why?
Because we can see that our planet is extremely ill. The climate is changing, in the areas where it is usually cold, now it is hot, glaciers are melting and many other examples. So if we want to have a healthy lifestyle, we should definitely take into consideration the environment.
How do you want to be healthy when you are probably inhaling smog or eat contaminated aliments?
Thus, in this blog post, I will give you some easy things you can implement in your daily life which will make a difference because even one person can be the change.
If you find these tips manageable, share them so more people act, therefore one person changes more and we all improve our lives.
1.Use reusables
The first thing you can easily change in your daily life is to replace disposables with reusables. Just by doing this, you will reduce the high amount of plastic from the items you use every day and do not even think about them.
You can switch to reusable items like:
Water bottles
Grocery bags
Lunchboxes
Towels instead of paper ones
Straws
Bamboo cutlery
Makeup removing cloths
Pads
LED light bulbs and many other items
“The purpose - where I start – is the idea of use. It is not recycling, it is reuse.”
Not only will these items reduce waste and pollution because brands will not be forced to produce a lot like in the case of disposables, but they will also make you save money.
Yes, you will pay a little extra for one such product, but then you will have it for a long time.

2.Use public transport/ bike
Another step you can make to be eco-friendly is to leave your car at home and enjoy a ride on the bike to work, school, or where you need to be or take public transport.
By doing this you will be reducing the overall environmental greenhouse gas emissions. In addition to this, you can also meet new people, or relax reading a book or listening to music and also save some money.
So next time you go somewhere, think of one of these methods.
3.Eat less processed and more plant-based

Nutritious foods have a lower environmental impact than unhealthy foods. This is because processed foods use a lot more energy in their growth, production, processing, transportation, preparation, and storage
They are wrapped in plastic, which adds to the waste and they also have many chemicals that are toxic for the environment.
Thus, it will be better for you and also the environment to reduce the processed foods from your diet and also meat.
4.Recycle
We all know that when it comes to environment and ecology, recycling may be the first thing we think of, needless to say, that it is an important action to do for certain materials to be afterward transformed in other items.
Therefore, you should put such materials in the special bins to help our planet.
5.Opt for local produce
When we go for more local produce, the distances these products travel are shortened, meaning fewer greenhouse emissions associated with transport. It also reduces the energy consumed for storage and packaging.
So buying more from your farmer’s market will give you a green finger and will also help the local economy, making this process sustainable.
6.Opt for less chemical-based products
I guess we all understand that the chemicals used in our day-to-day life, for example from cleaning products end in the atmosphere, cause a lot of pollution.
This is why we should pay thorough attention to everything we buy and consume because they may well be extremely toxic for the environment.
